When speed matters, not all bipods are created equal. Many of us here at Warne shoot in PRS and NRL matches, and we sponsor many of them. We have gone to PRS matches and seen shooters using bipods that cost almost $900. We set out to make a PRO bipod that is lightweight, versatile, has multiple features, is made in the USA, and costs less than the competition.
The Skyline Pro Bipod was designed to be PRS Bipod for PRS and NRL competitors?
Anytime someone takes a sport seriously, they look for gear that can give them the edge in competition or while hunting while trying to balance their budget. Just saving a few seconds in a PRS match could mean clearing stages and going home with something from the prize table, and we set out to make a bipod that will help shooters achieve their goals.
While at these matches, we chat with competitors, including pro shooters, to see how we can help competitive shooters gain an edge. Although our original Skyline bipod is very popular among shooters, it lacks one important feature that serious competitors want from a bipod: the ability to go wide. So, we put our engineers to work to make a bipod suited for demanding shooters.
PRS competition tested bipod
Before releasing the Skyline Pro Bipod to the market, we tested it at PRS matches and sought feedback from other shooters.
Introducing the Skyline Pro Bipod for PRS and NRL.
Engineered from aircraft-grade aluminum, the Skyline Pro Bipod maintains Warne's renowned durability of the original Skyline while introducing innovative features for enhanced performance. The bipod features three distinct stance angles of 72, 48, and 22 degrees, ensuring shooters can achieve the perfect shooting stance regardless of terrain or obstacles. The most notable feature is its ability for the legs to spread horizontally down to 3.7 inches for those hard-to-shoot-from positions with the simple push of a button. Its innovative, geared design simultaneously adjusts both legs, providing a seamless, one-handed transition between positions, ensuring unmatched precision with every shot.
The Skyline Pro bipod can be configured with either a quick-detach picatinny or ARCA head and is offered with either Warne's patented Precision retractable bipod legs or the simplistic Lite bipod legs. It achieves an astounding minimum height of just 3.7 inches and a maximum height of over 13 inches. This bipod also incorporates other standard Warne features, including 44 degrees of total cant range and rapid leg deployment.
Like all Skyline bipods, fast adjustments can be made from behind the rifle. When speed counts, a shooter can quickly adjust the cant, the leg height, and the deployment of the legs from behind the rifle. Both legs are geared to spread out at the same time rather than one at a time, shaving seconds off the timer. The gears also add to the durability of the design.
One of the most customizable bipods on the market.
The Skyline Pro can be customized to the shooter. The head uses an A.R.M.S.® 17S universal head interface, which accepts multiple mounting configurations that can be reversed easily for right—or left-handed shooters to use the quick disconnect or quick slide positions on an ARCA rail. With some easy disassembly and reassembly, the leg deployment can be reversed so that they can quickly deploy from the rear, putting the 45—and 90-degree locks to the front, depending on the shooter's preference. Learn How.
The Skyline Pro also has two different leg options: our very popular ratchet system precision legs, which give the shooter behind the rifle more control over leg height with push-button click adjustment, or our new Lite legs, which slide and lock.
Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, the Skyline Pro bipod sets a new standard for precision shooting equipment.
