WSM Manufacturing, LLC, doing business as Warne Scope Mounts (“Warne,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), understands that you care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. Accordingly, we developed this ‎Privacy Policy so you can understand how Warne collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes your personal information. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Policy as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies. We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from or about children. If we learn ‎that we are in possession of personal information about or collected from a child, we will immediately delete that information ‎from our systems.

How We Collect And Use (Process) Your Personal Information

Warne collects personal information about its customers and potential customers. With a few exceptions, this information is limited to the kinds of information that can be found on a business card: first name, last name, job title, employer name, work address, work email, and work phone number. We use this information to provide our customers with goods and services, including warranty services. We do not sell personal information to anyone and only share it with third parties who are facilitating the delivery of Warne services.

Personal Information You Give To Us

Customers

When you become a Warne customer, we collect information about you including but not limited to your name, your billing address, your shipping address (including your country location), your phone number, your email address, details about your orders for products and services, and details about your financial transactions with us. We also ask customers to voluntarily provide additional information in their customer profile, such as information about place of employment, position and social media where it applies to professional discount consideration, and related personal data.

We process your personal information for customer administration, to deliver products to you, to provide services such as warranty services or product recall information, and to inform you of products or services you may be interested in. Warne may also use this information to help us understand our customers’ needs and interests to better tailor our products and services to meet your needs.

In-person Events & Meetings

Warne employees attend in-person events throughout the year such as trade shows and customer sales meetings. Warne uses the information provided by event attendees to provide them with sales and marketing information, and other services. If you do not wish to receive information from Warne, you can express your preferences when you provide your information to us at an event, you may unsubscribe from an email list using the link in any applicable email, or you may contact Warne directly.

Newsletters

You may wish to subscribe to Warne’s newsletter or other email lists. To receive Warne newsletters by email, you will need to provide Warne with at least your email address. In some cases we may ask for additional information related to providing you with marketing materials. The purpose of processing this data is to have the necessary information to deliver newsletters by email. Warne does not share this information with any third party other than to store the information in our cloud-hosted databases. Some emails we send may be considered direct marketing.

You may manage your Warne email subscriptions by subscribing or unsubscribing at any time. Please note that if you have set your browser to block cookies, this may have an impact on your ability to unsubscribe. If you have any difficulties managing your email or other communication preferences with Warne, please contact us.

Correspondence

If you correspond with us by email, the postal service, or other form of communication, we may retain such correspondence and the information contained in it and use it to respond to your inquiry; to notify you of Warne products or services; or to keep a record of your complaint, accommodation request, or similar concern. As always, if you wish to have Warne “erase” your personal information or otherwise refrain from communicating with you, please contact us at info@warnescopemounts.com .

Note: if you ask Warne not to contact you by email at a certain email address, Warne will retain a copy of that email address on its “master do not send” list in order to comply with your no-contact request.

Warne has a legitimate interest in maintaining personal information of those who communicate voluntarily with us.

Payment Card Information

You may choose to purchase goods or services from Warne using a payment card. Typically, payment card information is provided directly by users, via the Warne website, into the PCI/DSS-compliant payment processing service which Warne uses, and Warne does not, itself, process or store the card information. Occasionally, customers ask Warne employees to, on their behalf, enter payment card information into the PCI/DSS-compliant payment processing service Warne uses. We strongly encourage you not to submit this information by email. When Warne employees receive payment card information from customers or members by email, fax, phone, or mail, it is entered as instructed and then deleted or destroyed.

Employment Information

If you apply for a job with Warne through our website, we will collect and process information that you provide to us regarding your employment application.

Information We Collect Automatically

Website Analytics

Warne’s website collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of Warne’s website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, analyze trends, track visitor movements, to improve site security, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences.

Warne also uses Google Analytics to track how often people gain access to or read our content. “Do Not Track”

Warne does not track your online activities over time or across third-party websites and online services, so we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Warne may use browser cookies or similar technology on our website to improve performance, to improve search functionality, maintain login or session state, or other similar uses. If you do not wish to accept cookies from our web site, you may configure your web browser so that it does not accept cookies, however, in such case you may lose certain functions available on our Website. Web Beacons (also sometimes referred to as clear gifs or pixel tags) are small electronic files that allow us to count users who have visited specific pages on our website, count how many recipients opened an email from us, or track other related website statistics.

Personal Information We Get From Third Parties

From time to time, Warne receives personal information about individuals from third parties. This may happen, for example, if we collect your personal data from a third party website (e.g. Facebook) if you fill out a form on that site requesting content from us. You may always update your data with Warne by contacting us.

Most of the time, Warne processes your personal data in order to fulfill our contractual obligation for an order for goods or services – including for warranty-related services.

Sometimes Warne has a legitimate interest in processing data to better understand the needs and interests of our customers to improve our business and better serve our customers. We use this information to refine our goods and services–including making improvements to our website–to better tailor them to your needs and to communicate with you about other products and services Warne offers that may be of interest to you.

When and How We Share Information With Others

The personal information Warne collects from you may be shared with contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose to them

The Warne website uses interfaces with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and others. If you choose to "like" or share information from our website through these services, you should review the privacy policy of that service. If you are a member of a social media site, the interfaces may allow the social media site to connect your site visit to your personal data.

Transferring Personal Data To The U.S.

Warne has its headquarters in the United States. Information we collect about you will be processed in the United States. By buying Warne’s products and using our services, including using our website, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed in the United States. The United States has not sought nor received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR. Pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR, Warne is providing for appropriate safeguards by entering binding, standard data protection clauses, enforceable by data subjects in the EEA and the UK.

Depending on the circumstance, Warne also collects and transfers to the U.S. personal data with consent or to perform a contract with you. Warne endeavors to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal data and to use it only consistent with your relationship with Warne and the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Security Of Your Information

To help protect the privacy of data and personally identifiable information you transmit through use of this Site, we maintain commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data to those employees who need to know that information to provide benefits or services to you. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. We commit to taking appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce our employees' privacy responsibilities. Data Storage and Retention

Your personal data is stored by Warne on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services Warne engages, located in the United States. Warne retains data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with us and for a period of time thereafter to analyze the data for Warne’s own operations, and for applicable tax, legal, accounting, or other reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate length of time for storing your personal information, we consider the ‎amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use ‎or disclosure of the information, the purposes for which we process the information and whether we can ‎achieve those purposes through other means.
