Digital Marketing Strategist

The Digital Marketing Strategist responsible for maintaining and growing Warne’s community of enthusiasts both online and in-person. Online, you will develop programs to grow our community and develop interactions with members including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms and occasionally attend local shooting events and trade shows. Assist in technical support & customer service through email and phone communication.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinates social and digital media content and posts to online communities.
  • Develops new content to be shared with our community.
  • Engages social audience with interactive polls and surveys and develops monthly give-a-ways to grow brand awareness and audience.
  • Creates and manages paid advertisements on social media platforms and ad words.
  • Interacts with members on a daily basis through online platforms.
  • Answers member questions and provides updates.
  • Updates website blog to mirror social posts, video and press release content.
  • Maintains, edits and distributes company’s consumer email newsletter.
  • Trains co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.
  • Effectively communicates with the customer service and sales teams.
  • Maximizes productivity, profitability, and constantly strives for improvement,

  • Represents WSM at industry events and trade shows when required.
  • Gathers information on industry trends, potential product defects, warranty failures as well as new product suggestions and needs and records data in the CRM system for future analysis and QC control.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum Bachelors in a related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years vocational, technical training or personal use in operation and maintenance of firearms.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Receiving Specialist

Manage incoming deliveries to warehouse. Checks for visual quality defects and delivers to appropriate locations. Checks packing slips or invoices for P.O. number and accuracy and then receives PO’s into IQMS. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and a strong sense of time management, organization and urgency. Must be able to work independently and within a team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:              

  • Verifies accuracy of incoming deliveries by counting, weighing and comparing size, weight and description with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase orders. Dates and signs packing slips and turns in to accounting daily.
  • Records any discrepancies in quantities or damage of incoming goods
  • Opens crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items received.
  • Moves inventory to various locations manually or by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift and pallet jack. Unloads inventory to racks.
  • Assists in staging of product in warehouse and/or removing or rearranging product to permit access by others.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area which includes the warehouse raw material locations to facilitate effective and efficient receiving functions.
  • Manage Chip Program. Call for dumps when full and empty operators’ containers as needed.
  • Ability to drive a fork lift. Preforms proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operations guidelines.
  • Monitors condition of equipment and reports any damage or non-operational equipment.
  • Assists in other departments as needed.
  • Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety, PPE requirements and policies.
  • Required to drive company vehicle to move goods between company locations and local pickups of misc. items as needed. Required to maintain good driving record

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience performing the above duties within a production/manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Must be able to use simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and read work orders and interpret pack slips

CNC Machine Operator Level 2

Responsible for safe, effective and efficient set up of CNC machines.  Adjusts and checks out programming, and operates numerically controlled machine tools to perform a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work to close to exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring considerable skill and under minimal supervision of the machine shop supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:     

  • Refers to programming instructions, operational data and machine setup instructions to define and code tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings, for operations such as bore, mill, drill, face, thread and occasional profiling and contouring
  • Cleans and maintains machine, tooling, and parts to maintain equipment in optimal production condition
  • Identifies and replaces damaged or worn tools when necessary
  • Exercises special care to ensure the machine is running correctly
  • Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; reports issues
  • Reads prints and checks part specifications by using measuring tools to ensure accuracy
  • Consults with machine shop supervisor for first article inspection for quality assurance purposes
  • Inspects work pieces throughout the production run to identify out-of-tolerance machining
  • Assembles machined parts to identify and guarantee function
  • Navigates between controller screens to make adjustments for off-sets when needed
  • Recovers machine from alarm scenarios
  • Troubleshoots machine operation and run issues and identifies appropriate solutions; communicates issues and solutions to Machine Shop Supervisor, implements solutions upon approval
  • Maintains work station in a safe and clean manner
  • Performs effective start up and shut down procedures
  • Accurately completes all documentation, work orders, travelers, reject travelers.

CNC General Machine Operator

Responsible for safe, effective and efficient operation of one or more production machines in accordance with company machining standards and under general supervision of the machine shop supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:          

  • Loads parts onto correct fixtures
  • Load the fixtures onto the 4th Axis CNC Machine
  • Performs minor hand operations, such as part/product filing, deburring, and cleaning parts and equipment
  • Verifies that parts are in conformance to specifications
  • Effectively uses calipers, blade micrometer, or height stand to measure parts
  • Performs secondary operations as instructed to prepare machined parts for downstream processing
  • Uses hand deburring tools to prep parts for next operation
